why we're here

Welcome boys and girls to what I hope will be a substantial enough record of my life in NYC. I've been living in Manhattan for almost two years and I have already done so many incredible things that I'm starting to forget them. The hope is that one day I'll be able to read back through these posts and relive them "The Notebook" style.

In addition to chronicling my misadventures in the city, I'll also be documenting my long term goal of completing all 1001 things listed in "The Best Things to Do in New York". I've given myself 10 years to complete the list so don't expect a miracle.
